Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. What Ledger is
Ledger is a journaling tool for personal market calls. You log trades you've made or intend to make, write down your reasoning, and watch how they play out. Ledger is a record-keeping and reflection tool, not a brokerage, financial advisor, or trading platform.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on Ledger constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Public trades shared by other users are their personal opinions, not recommendations. You alone are responsible for any investment decisions you make. Trade at your own risk.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ledger. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree not to share your account with anyone else. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. What you can post
By using Ledger you agree not to post: harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit material, illegal content, content impersonating someone else, deliberately fraudulent or manipulative market “picks,” spam, or anything that violates applicable law. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of trades, theses, comments, and other content you create on Ledger. By making something public, you grant Ledger a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content as part of the service. You can delete your content or close your account at any time.
6. Beta status
Ledger is currently in private beta. Features may change, data may be lost during migrations, and the service may go down without warning. Don't rely on it as your only record of your trades.
7. Termination
You can stop using Ledger at any time. We may discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice, and shut down accounts that violate these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Ledger is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to trading losses, lost data, or service interruptions.
9. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continuing to use Ledger after a change means you accept the updated terms.
